This is the first non-Canon lens I've purchased and the Sigma 17-70/2.8-4.5 DC surprised the hell me with its fine performance. Zoom range, speed, resolution, low Chromatic Abberation, fast/sure autofocus speed and solid build quality make this lens stand head and shoulders above the typical cheap Canon kit lens such as the terrible Canon EF 18-55/4.5-5.6. Plus the Sigma has 1:2.3 macro capabilities with very sharp results...AMAZING! I've read more and more reviews all over the Internet on this Sigma lens that praise its qualities. This lens will compete with Canon lenses costing two and 3 times as much (EF 17-40, EF 18-50/2.8, EF 16-35/2.8). The Sigma 17-70 is constructed with one SLD low-dispersion glass element which is responsible for its excellent lack of Chromatic Aberation. At this price I never expected that kind of quality. Highly recommended!

I bought this camera because of its support for 1280x960 resolution. The camera may have the sensor for it, but it lacks so much other support, it might as well have not included the function. When you change the camera to support the highest resolution, you see LOTS of configuration options that say:

It impacts the streaming, alarms, triggers, .... What a joke. Save your money and get one of the Panasonics that fully support 640x480.

This is my second purchase of this scope. My first one is mounted on a Remington 700 5R tactical .308. I shot 1 inch group at 100 yards with this combination. I plan on putting new scope on Thompson Center Icon .308. You'll need extra-high 30mm rings to get this mounted properly. You'll be happy if you find/buy one.

It's a nice little phone. A bit small if you have big fingers.

It works fast, nice screen, good sound through speakers or headphones.

Only con is that's a bit small, but anyway the keyboard works well and I can live with it. I just thought it was going to be bigger.

If you get this phone don't upgrade it right away (firmware 58 can be rooted, firmware 62 not without a downgrade). Google how to root it, then perform the upgrade over-the-air (wifi) and not using the PC Companion software -otherwise it will unroot itself. By rooting it you will be able to remove all the Sony apps that you don't need.

Nikon 18-300mm f/3.5-5.6G VR DX ED AF-S Nikkor-Zoom Lens with 2x Teleconverter (= 18-600mm) + 3 (UV/FLD/CPL) Filters + Accessory Kit Review

I bought this to replace my 18-55mm and 55-200mm lenses. I was tired of changing them back and forth and couldn't do it as fast as I needed. I was worried I would need my tripod all the time, but even at 300mm, I get sharper images than I did with my 200mm. I did a few panning shots of birds at 300mm and was really surprised at how clear they were. The lens is heavier than my other two, but I love not having to switch the lenses. I have a sling (over the shoulder) strap, so I don't have any issues with it hurting my neck.

The converter is okay and that is what I expected. I've always heard you lose quality. My aperature will only open up to 11. So far, that hasn't caused a problem. The lens has a hard time focusing with the converter, so it is better to just use manual focus.

So far, I have only used the polarizing filter and that is likely the only one I will use on a regular basis. I was very impressed with it. I've been using a Cokin filter system with a polarizer and I felt this one did a better job of reducing the reflections.

Overall, I have not regretted this purchase at all. I love this new lens. I feel it has freed me from carrying extra lenses and missing a shot because I need to swap them out. I am very pleased.
