If you have done your research, you know that painter is in a league of its own, as far as natural media emulation goes. The reason I titled this review BEWARE, is because the management team at Corel has zero respect for the users of its product. I can say without exaggerating that Corel has the worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with. If you are lucky and the software works well, without hitches on your machine, congratulations. If like me, you encounter memory leakage (due to engineering faults of the software) and you want their help figuring out how to navigate the situation, you had better have a plan B. Many days after I filled out their cumbersome form to communicate with "help staff" I got a cookie cutter response that they would get in touch with me within 12 hours. It never happened. I wrote to them again, and I might as well have put a message in a bottle and thrown it into the Atlantic. The software is very good at what it does, when it works, but the firm that owns it, and takes customer money easily, does NOTHING to help with any technical difficulties.
