Product Description

Grado headphones can reproduce as natural a soundstage from stereo recordings and provide as much listening pleasure as a good pair of speakers do. Grado headphones are free of room effects and placement problems, and they minimize any interference from external noise. They also offer portability and the ability to listen without worrying about the neighbors. With Grado headphones, you will hear recordings with greater clarity and with deeper bass than others! Beyond Grado's critically acclaimed Reference Series and the General Statement, the Professional Series PS1000 takes the best qualities of past Grado technology and merges it into one headphone that's a vital affirmation of music's presence in the present.
Grado's Professional Series PS1000 is a hybrid of wood and metal extends the Grado sound to levels never before achieved. This is truly the best headphone Grado has ever produced. Throughout the audio spectrum, the Grado PS1000 delivers definitive highs, tight midrange, and rich bass. The concept of a hybrid metal/wooden headphone delivers that neutral tonality that no transducer could approach. This step up from the Grado GS1000 is so significant that audio enthusiasts are ready to sell all their headphones to own just the PS1000.
The Grado PS1000 features voice-coils that are wound from ultra-high purity, long crystal (UHPLC) oxygen free copper. The copper is slowly drawn through the die in extremely small increments and is annealed following each drawing operation. Ultra-high conductivity copper yields the clearest transmission and lowest coloration possible. The sound of UHPLC copper is smoother, cleaner and more dynamic. Each headphone driver is made to Grado's high standards, then pair-matched for exact imaging. These headphones also utilize UHPLC copper in the connecting cable.
The diaphragm is made of a low mass polymer, carefully formed to broaden resonant modes to reduce their amplitu

Grado PS1000 Professional Series Stereo Headphone Review

I went to a local high end audio store that had a number of headphones for comparison and after listening to most of them I tried the PS1000. The quality immediately jumped out within 2-3 seconds of listening. I've owned a number of headphones over the years and these are light years ahead of anything I've owned or heard. The only headphones I've heard that come close are the Sennheiser HD800 headphones but I give the nod to the Grados in its ability to portray the individual instruments within the recording. I own a high end audio system and the Grados driven by a Burson headphone amp puts out sounds that are comparable to my home system. They are expensive but if music matters to you and you can swing the entry fee the Grado 1000's are world class and very highly recommended.

Product Description

Overview:
The Lumix FZ200 Digital Camera from Panasonic is Panasonic's latest digital compact camera to offer an f/2.8 aperture across the full range of its zoom. And given that the full range runs to 600mm (in 35mm format), that's saying something. The lens on the FZ200 is a 24x optical zoom lens that starts at the wide angle end as a 25mm and zooms all the way to 600mm. This is an incredible range that encompasses all the focal lengths you could ever need and it offers an f/2.8 aperture at all of those lengths. Normally, this is something that only high end professional lenses offer, but with this Leica DC Vario-Elmarit lens, you can have the speed and light collecting ability of an f/2.8 in an easy-to- use, easy-to-hold compact camera. It's hard to understate the improvements your photos will show, especially zoom close-ups, when you are shooting at f/2.8. The f/2.8 will allow you to use faster shutter speeds at full zoom or lower light and get sharp, blur-free images. Add to that, the Light Speed Auto Focus and 12 frames per second burst shooting speed and you have no reason to ever miss a shot. Really.

LG 55LH90 55-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LED Backlit LCD HDTV, Glossy Black/Infused Blue Review

First of all you can get the tv at best buy during sales for 2199 and then get them to match a coupon for sears for 10% off.
Secondly, there are no voice issues if you use the right kind of hdmi cable...get the brand new updated version and you won't have
any problems. Third, do yourself a favor and buy the new ps3 to play your movies on..even if you don't need a game system.
It has wireless networking, it's down to 299 and it will display all your photos and music on your tv, it's like having a 120
gig hard drive hooked up to your tv with blueray capability. I have been looking for a year for the right tv and i knew this
was it. The picture is fully backlit, instead of edgelit like the Samsung, that makes a big difference in the details. The
other thing is that the picture is absolutely stunning. The LED technology will save you money over plasmas and last longer...
approximately 7-15 years longer. It doesn't run as hot as plasmas, the electricity cost you a lot less, there's no fear of burn in,
the picture is unbelievable and there's several places to use it as a computer monitor. Pertaining to other people's comments
about the power light, it actually blends into the background when you're watching tv or a movie, it's not bothersome at all, but
in the case that it does bother you really bad, hey, just get a sharpie, lol. Some of you reading this are wondering what tv to
buy. If you do your research, consumer reports, cnet and all those, they will tell you this is one of the best in the 55" category.
The contrast ratio is 2,000,000 to 1, the automotion ms response time is 4 or less because of the 240 hz, not as fast as a plasma but how many people were complaining when there lcd's were just 120 hz...no one was. Anyway, good luck with your decision but at the end
of the day if you buy this tv, you'll be happy.

Leica D-LUX5 10.1 MP Compact Digital Camera with Super-Fast f/2.0 Lens, 3.8x Zoom Lens, 3" LCD Display, O.I.S. Image Stabilization (Titanium Special Edition) Review

I tired of carrying my DSLR and associated lenses, etc and decided to go to a Point and Shoot (P&S) camera. I had read a great deal and having owned a Nikon D-60 DSLR for a period of time, was concerned primarily with picture quality in going from a DSLR with large sensor to a P&S with much smaller sensor. For 3 solid months, give or take, I diligently, researched all P&S cameras as well as "mirrorless cameras" currently on the market. I went to 'handle' the cameras I was interested in (see below) and to Flickr on the internet and queried some groups regarding the cameras I was considering. I am a hobbyist when it comes to photography but, I was obsessed with getting as close to the superior photo quality of a DSLR as possible in a P&S. I finally decided on the Leica due to (what I believe to be) superior photo quality and excellent in-camera jpeg processing. I looked at the Nikon P7000...mixed but generally lower reviews within this group (I have owned a number of/and greatly respect Nikons); Panasonic LX5...which many say to be the same as the Leica (with the exception of jpeg processing); Canon G-12...which seemed ok with the exception of handling RAW production and the Canon S95...not as good in the lens department and photo processing. Both the Leica and Panasonic have a larger sensor than the rest of this group. Granted, I could have purchased any of these really good cameras, at a much lower price; but, I found the color and overall photo quality of the D Lux 5 to be best of the group I researched. I have never owned a Leica before and I while I expected it I am still shocked at the sticker price and cost of accessories. I'll not debate the pros and cons of the Panasonic LX5 versus the Leica, there is enough information in that regard published by professionals and labs, all over the internet. The warranty and the inclusion of Lightroom 3 were nice additions, to help soothe the price pain. A word about the warranty, depending on what you read the warranty goes anywhere from 2 years (what was in my box warranty) and some (see Steve Huff's excellent analysis) say 3 years. I'll admit the whole warranty process was/is confusing. I bought my camera from B&H Photo in New York and was confused when the salesman said that there was no warranty with the Leica during checkout and that I should buy an additional warranty for 2 years. Everything I had read previous to my purchase, said Leica provided a 2 year warranty and so I passed on the B&H offer, hope I am right. I am very happy with this camera. It is easy to operate, provides excellent stabilization, in-camera menus are outstanding, shoots in RAW format and is easy to carry/handle. Leica accessories are expensive though. Many of the items that fit the LX5; also, fit the Leica. The viewfinder, although with mixed reviews, is a must if you shoot in bright daylight or snowy environs. The Panasonic viewfinder is around $200.00 less than the Leica brand and supposedly fits/works the same on the D Lux 5...we'll see. My decision to buy the Leica boiled down to quality of build/pictures and reputation. Good sites to go to: stevehuffphoto.com; DPReview; CNET; bhphotovideo.com; snapshot.com; youtube and if you want to look at actual photos, taken by everyday users of the Leica D Lux 5, see the Leica groups on Flicr. Hope this helps.
