If you want to buy D90 wich is really god camera I recommend to you to buy it with another configuration. 18-55 and 70-300 lenses are good but Mini Travel Tripod and the Slave Flash where useful, they just don't work and the 2x Telephoto Lens is not fitting not with 18 - 55 nor with 70 - 300 lenses. My recommendation: there are some other more useful D90 configurations on amazon with lower price so don't hurry in your final decision.

Yamaha YHT-493BL 5.1 Channel 500 Watt HTiB System (Each, Black) Review

Got this one for Xmas. Took me less than an hour to set it up with my DirectV HD-DVR with HDMI cable. Has to order extra HDMI cable. Instruction is not very clear on the DVR hook up. It took some guessing but eventually hooking up with no problem. iPhone dock is not included and costs another $100. Ouch. We are enjoying the sound quality, especially for movie watching. Only minor complaint about the size of the subwoofer is a bit bigger than we thought (approx. 14 inches cube). The SCENE button for TV only work for using "component video cable" hook up. I used HDMI cable for my HD-DVR, therefore, I can't use the "TV" on the SCENE button. Very minor issue. Overall, it's a very enjoyable system.

Panasonic KX-FG2451 Plain Paper Fax/Copier with 2.4GHz FHSS GigaRange? Cordless Phone and Digital Answering System Review

We were looking for an inexpensive, compact fax with cordless phone, but which also identified the incoming calls so we could screen out solicitors. This did all that, and the price was right, and installation easy. Both the fax unit and the cordless phone have the caller ID feature, which was a plus. The only disappointment was that Staples does not carry a generic version of the replacement film, and the Panasonic replacement film is pricy. So just don't let your kids copy their term papers on it!

Toshiba 55SL417U 55-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LED-LCD HDTV with Net TV, Black Review

I recently bought this TV to replace (like so many others) a Mitsubishi DLP. I wasn't interested in a top of the line TV - to me LED wasn't a priority, nor was 3D. I simply wanted a good priced, quality LCD that would properly produce clear HD 1080p resolution. When I came across this TV I was very hesitant to place the order, as there were simply no reviews anywhere. At the size and price it seemed too good to be true. After a few weeks of enjoying the TV I can happily report that I have not been disappointed at all!

However, this TV is certainly not for the hard core techies out there. If you're the type to worry about comparing contrast ratios, refresh rates, and 3D then this probably won't satisfy your needs. Although this TV is listed as an LED, the picture produced is really just a true LCD resolution. You won't get the overly realistic "soap opera effect" that LEDs have, which quite honestly I don't enjoy that much to begin with, except for watching sports. If you're interested in simply producing quality HD picture, then all you really need is 1080p/120hz, and thats exactly what this TV delivers - clear, crisp HD with no blur. Also, the built in wifi is great. It picked up my home wireless signal right away and Netflix and Youtube come in perfectly, and in HD when available. Another extremely pleasant surprise about this TV is its thinness! It is shockingly thin, it easily compares with the Samsung UN-series LED's. When the Amazon delivery guys took it out of the box for assembly they couldn't stop talking about how thin it was - it simply looks like the price should be 3 times as much just for that alone.

The only con, and for many it will be a big con, is the sound. While shopping around I'd read alot of reviews on other TVs about the sound being terrible, comparing them to clock radios and ipod speakers. I couldn't imagine a huge TV producing such poor qualilty sound, and I tended to dismiss these bad reviews as probably coming from tech geeks and audiophiles with the highest standards. However, I can now sympathize with those reviews. The sound on this TV really can be compared to a pair of ipod speakers. It's not really about the loudness (which is on the low side), but its simply about the quality. The sound is very weak and shallow, with no bass whatsoever. Fortunately I have a Sony home theater system, but if I didn't I would definitely have bought one or a sound bar. That being said, at this price you can still go out and buy a great speaker system and you'll still being saving alot of money.

I'd also like to plug the Amazon store card for those that dont know. I signed up for the card just to buy this TV. It gives you the option to finance the TV for 24 months at no interest. So if I choose to go the full 24 months, thats only $52/month to own a 55" LED-LCD. Simply an amazing deal!

I hope this review helps those like me who are looking for a quality 55" LCD at a great price. Trust me, this TV will not disappoint!

Panasonic VIERA TC-L42D30 42-Inch 1080p LED HDTV Review

Sorry to report, but as the saying goes, "facts are friendly".

You need to hope, make that pray, your set doesn't develop a nasty black line from the top like ours did. The line is maybe 5 inches long and very visible on all inputs. It was confirmed by the repair guy Panasonic sent out. The set needs a new panel. Ok, it sucks but these are complex devices.

Guess what? It's been in the shop for a month and the latest date, without any promise, is another four weeks for the part. Two months?

Ever try to reach Panasonic for such an issue? It is brutal. Nothing to offer, no consideration whatsoever. Just "please call the repair shop as it is their job to keep you apprised." Yeah, the repair shop calls every week to express exasperation that Panasonic cannot get them the part.

We all know things can break, but folks, the real test is when things go bad - how does a manufacturer perform? In this case, as badly as you can imagine.

One call: transferred to parts. Parts looks up the case, reports the part is back ordered, and it will be at least another month. That makes two months. I ask him who I should speak with? He says the Consumer people. I say, OK, can you transfer me. He transfers me to a general operator. She says she'll transfer me. She does - to "family court". Seriously. Family court.

Another call: nice man listens to my tale. Advises me that the service company, and this is not a formal Panasonic outfit, just an authorized repair place - he insists the repair shop is who I must deal with. The poor guys running that shop are flipping out that Panasonic is putting them in the hot seat when it is the part delay which is the issue.

Caveat emptor to you all. I sincerely hope you have units that last forever. But speaking for us, we'll never consider anything Panasonic again, ever.

regards,
patrick

Samsung LN37B530 37-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV Review

This Samsung 37" HDTV was purchased for the bedroom. After having purchased a Samsung 46" model A650 I signed up for Direct TV satellite but could not get the same programs (HD) on my old bedroom set. I didn't want to spend a lot of money so I started tracking Amazons listings. Long story short. it's everything I wanted in a second set. The picture is perfect, the price was right with no tax or shipping charge. Excellent clarity. Love this set. I also have a 21" Samsung computer monitor.
