I mainly record vocals and acoustic guitar. This mic is phenomenal for both. For acoustic guitar, it captures both fullness and crisp high end with ease. Vocals are a treat to record and play back. For vocals the TLM 102 works well for every application - crooning falsetto lines, loud belting, low airy vocals, you name it. This mic has the clear sound that you listen for on professional recordings. I work in Logic Pro 9 and I hardly have to do any adjustment - just slight EQ, compression, and a nice reverb plate.
