To be fair, this is my first truly long range optic, most of my "scopes" have been CQB up until now (typically 1-4, 1.5-6, etc). But I decided my safe was missing a "sniper" rifle so I bought a new Savage Precision Carbine in .308 and none of my existing optics were going to fill the bill. I was worried that acquiring a sight picture was going to take more effort and time than my CQB stuff does but I needn't have worried, this is bright and quick to bring on point. And sighting it in was cake, this scope has ample windage and elevation adjustments that your mount would need to be seriously out of alignment for this scope not to have a suffecient adjustment range. I was convinced I would have to spend almost double to find one I felt would be fair to the rifle and cartridge but I'm pleasantly surprised!
